Cypress Ridge Phase 3 Subdivision, Hillsborough County

Civil CADD Technician

Position Description:

As a CADD Tech, you will work with a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects including mixed-use developments, townhomes, single-family, multi-family residential subdivisions, and commercial projects.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Prepares zoning plans for submittal to government agencies and municipalities

• Works with the designer in developing construction plans

• Prepares drainage, grading, and roadway plans

• Prepares conceptual site layouts

• Updates plans with notes and legal descriptions

• Identify, troubleshoot, and suggest solutions to problems to complete the project

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years professional work experience

• Desire to design Land Development projects

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, required, Civil 3D and ArcGIS a plus

• Work experience in a civil firm desired

• Be flexible and willing to work within a fast-paced work environment

• Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members

• Self-starter, able to perform duties independently as well as in a                     team environment

Civil CAD Designer

Position Description:

As a Designer, you will be part of a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects, including mixed-use developments, townhomes, single-family, multi-family residential subdivisions, and commercial projects.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• The design and preparation of land development projects in the Central Florida area.

• Work with and coordinate with engineering team and other disciplines to meet project objectives.

• Design grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and roadways

• Review the plans for completeness, accuracy, and quality control.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and suggest solutions to problems to complete the project.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years professional work experience in the Civil Engineering field

• Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and technically sound in engineering principles and practices.

• Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and WaterCAD. Civil 3D and ArcGIS a plus.

• Ability to design Land Development projects from initial stages through final construction documents.

• Must have extensive civil engineering experience with site grading, plan-profile drawings, cross sections, pressurized pipe, and gravity pipe systems, roadway and subdivision layout, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and construction drawing preparation.

• Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Civil Engineer

Position Description:

As a Civil Engineer, you will be part of a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects, including mixed-use developments, townhomes, single-family, multi-family residential subdivisions, and commercial projects.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• The design and preparation of land development projects in the Central Florida area

• Design grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and roadways

• Design & coordinate with engineering team and other disciplines to meet project objectives

• Assist with various duties, such as engineering records, permitting, or obtaining existing utility right-of-way records

• Work with engineering design teams on stormwater management modeling and design, preparing calculation packages, site grading, utility design, hydraulic calculations and cost estimating

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 5 years professional work experience in Engineering

• P.E. in State of FL or ability to obtain within 2 years

• Ability to design land development projects from initial stages through final construction documents

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR and Civil 3D required

• Experience required in stormwater modeling and drainage design; roadway, utility, and site design; and land development, road, and utility design

• Self-starter, detail oriented, and technically sound with engineering principles & practices

• Work experience in a civil firm desired

• Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced work environment
