Civil CADD Technician

Position Description

As a CADD Tech, you will work with a site/civil engineering team designing Land Development projects including mixed-use developments, townhomes, single-family, multi-family residential subdivisions, and commercial projects.

Areas of Responsibilities:

Prepares zoning plans for submittal to government agencies and municipalities
Works with the designer in developing construction plans
Prepares drainage, grading, and roadway plans
Prepares conceptual site layouts
Updates plans with notes and legal descriptions
Identify, troubleshoot, and suggest solutions to problems to complete the project

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years professional work experience
Desire to design Land Development projects
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, required, Civil 3D and ArcGIS a plus
Work experience in a civil firm desired
Be flexible and willing to work within a fast-paced work environment
Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members
Self-starter, able to perform duties independently as well as in a team environment
